Rock Township Paramedic Sues for retaliation

Rock Township Ambulance District  located in Arnold, MO just south of Saint Louis is being sued by a paramedic for wrongful termination. Paramedic Kevin Boyer claims he was fired for exposing errors in billing that cost taxpayers $40,000.

From the Saint Louis Today website:

The suit says he was fired Jan.19, a few months after he told Margie Sammons, the ambulance district’s administrator, that the district had paid monthly health insurance premiums of $400 for his ex-wife even after he had filled out forms to have her removed from his plan after they divorced.

Why do the people who point out the inconsistencies (AKA whistle blowers) always get silenced first?
