Franklin New Jersey Paramedic vehicle stolen, involved in fatal crash

News reports say that Michael Jones stole a tactical paramedic vehicle from Franklinville  Fire Company to flee police. The perpetrator led police on a high speed pursuit, in rainy conditions. From the Courier-Post:

Always a hardworking man, 81-year-old Alfred S. Costantino was heading to a business meeting Tuesday morning.

Costantino was pulling onto Chestnut Avenue from Holmes Avenue when the stolen Dodge Durango slammed into his Plymouth Voyager.

Costantino died at the scene.

Jones now faces felony murder and manslaughter charges and is scheduled to be arraigned this afternoon.
